The following report has been submitted by "TC": My trip began at 4am on Saturday morning the 17th of May when Tim and Brian arrived at my house in Southeast WI. They had left Minneapolis at 10pm the night before. Upon their arrival we loaded up the gear inside the Squatch Inc. research trailer and headed for the Cin./KY Airport where we would meet up with Rob who was flying in from Loiusiania. We picked him up and headed to our base camp. We arrived there at 4pm. We then set-up camp and prepared to spend our first night at the "Kentucky Incident" location where our investigation would begin.
Base Camp Set-up
When we arrived at Doug's place where the cams are set-up and the home of the KY Incident, we were met with open arms by KY Researcher's family. We felt right at home immediately. The great people there had a terrific meal all ready for us which was fantastic. We filled our belly's and geared up for the first nights adventure.
Sat. night we climbed a large hill northwest of Doug's place and started to set-up our gear, which included Tim's 3-way parabolic mic.. Having ourselves positioned on the hill and listening intently for approximately 30 minutes we encountered lightning which drove of us off the hill rather quickly. We then came down the hill and set-up our equipment at Doug's house. Brian and Tim manned their parabolics in a dark corner of the property and Rob and myself hooked up the call blaster and played some whoops. No return calls were heard. The cattle in the pasture did find our calls interesting and came over to take a look.
Then around 2am we walked the rural road in the area for a few miles in hopes of having some type of interaction. Nothing unfamiliar was heard or witnessed during this walk.
