As you can see I was within the 33 inches range . Everything was wet the only good thing was it kept the temperature down and the bugs away. That forest was actually equivalent to a mild rain forest, the forest actually created its own rain clouds there was so much oxygen being produced by the forest.
So here I am tromping through the woods everyday, not a soul around in all directions for miles, all I got is my backpack with food and water and my rain suit. It was extremely tedious, some days were just agony because of the weather not to mention I was totally isolated and unable to contact anyone. Some days were great; the weather was nice, I kept up my hopes and really enjoyed being outdoors.
One of my job requirements was to do point counting, that is where you go to a certain location in the woods sit and record all the bird species you hear, so suffice to say I could ID any bird call and still can.
